They are highly efficient as they ensure a good workflow, and provide a great deal of storage space and worktop area.

With a U-shaped kitchen you have cabinets surrounding you on three sides, so this type of layout requires sufficient room area to fit in.

U-shaped kitchens typically work best with larger interior spaces, but that does not mean you can’t have them in smaller rooms, as well.

You just need to ensure that you get enough free area to move around and operate. Of course, having a larger than average room for your U-shaped kitchen is the best case scenario. There you may even be able to add an island counter for a more efficient cooking experience.

No matter how large or small, U-shaped kitchens can be beautifully designed in a classic, traditional or more modern way, depending on your personal preferences.

They can be equipped with built-in or stand-alone appliances, and can be fitted with practical storage solutions, such as a Lazy Susan or a pull out basket for those hard to reach spaces in the corners.
