It can be quite difficult to keep all the spice jars in order. Sometimes in the rush, you accidentally knock one over and cause a mess.

This DIY trick of organizing your kitchen jars not only reduces clutter in the kitchen, but it also gives your kitchen cabinets a unique look. All you need to do is nail the jars’ cap underneath the cabinet and then you can screw them up.

2.      Sink Storage Trays

The inside of the kitchen sink cabinet is always dirty. Admit it, you really don’t care about organization under there and simply shove things inside when you can come from the store.

To get access to the right cleaning solution and organize them in order, why not install a sliding rack? Instead of one storage space, you get four storage racks with this simple DIY trick.

3.      Magnetic Spice Rack

How often have you used the wrong spice because you weren’t looking clearly in the drawer? If you want to put all the spices your daily use in plain sight, create a magnetic spice rack.

You only need a couple of things to make this rack: magnets and a stainless steel wall plate. The spices will be clearly visible and you can clear out the drawers and get rid of the pests that are attracted to the smell.

4.      Sliding Panty Shelves

Most people want the luxury of a pantry but with a small kitchen, which is not possible. Here’s an idea: why not turn one of your old cupboards into storage unit.

You can install different sizes pull out cabinets in the cupboard and organize kitchen items accordingly: the spices at the top and pots and pans, along with rice and flour at the bottom. This is one of the best ways to organize your kitchen and make the room more spacious.

5.      Kitchen Measurement Conversion Chart

Do you love cooking? Then you will agree with us when we say that following a recipe to the T is quite difficult. Your hands often get dirty, making it difficult for you to use your mobile phone.

Therefore, we bring you the ingredients measurement chart. Just get the most basic measurement chart from Google and draw it on the inside of the cupboard.

Hammer in the measurement plate and hang the measurement cups and spoons in their places. Next time when you are in a pickle, just pop open the cupboard and you will know how much of the ingredient you need to use.

6.      Labeled Jars

This is perhaps one of the easiest tips to organize your kitchen. As mentioned earlier, it can get quite tricky when ingredients resemble and are placed in close proximity like sugar, salt, flour, baking soda, etc. Just label the jars with a clear sticker and that’s it.

7.      Organized Appliances Storage Space

You know how you open the appliance cabinet and in order to get to the appliance you want to use, you have to untangle a lot of wires?

Well, not anymore! This simple DIY trick allows you to create separate compartments for your appliances. To help an amateur navigate around the appliances, label the compartments with the scrabble letters.

8.      Utensil Drawer Organizer

Get your glue gun and thin planks of wood for this DIY trick. Measure the utensil sizes and create the compartments. This is a pretty neat trick to avoid rummaging when you are in a hurry.

You can get the planks in any material and size from Amazon. A set of five costs $11, so you know this DIY is pretty cheap.

9.      Refrigerator Rack

The refrigerator rack is an add-on that requires no hacking, hammering or sawing. If you have a couple of old racks lying around, then join them and simple hang it from the fridge’s side.

You probably don’t have a wine cellar and all your pretty wine bottles are placed inside a cabinet. Well, this DIY trick is pretty easy. It requires two things: a wooden plank and stainless steel or copper strips. Simply drill one end of the strip into the wooden plank and curve the other end to hold the bottle.

And these are the top ten DIY tricks on how to organize your kitchen. Pretty easy, right. Well then, what are you waiting for? Head on over to the nearest Home Depot and get all the tools needed to get these projects underway.
